bottle drop announcement

Rose Haven is excited to partner with Oregon BottleDrop this June for the 2026 Hidden Bottle Hunt. The Hidden Bottle Hunt is a yearly celebration of Oregon’s bottle bill, which has effectively increased rates of recycling throughout the state, helping keep our cities litter free. With this, we want to encourage friends of Rose Haven to get outside, collect, and give back through participating in this community event!

How it works:

-Through June 25-28, 2026 bottles will be dispersed throughout different geographic zones in Oregon, for Portlanders, this would be zone 1E.

-New clues will be dropped each day of the bottle hunt (or until all bottles are collected). To be notified of daily clues you can sign up utilizing your email.

-The lucky finders of the hidden bottles not only get to keep the speciality bottle as a trophy, but they also get the chance to make a $1,000 donation to the BottleDrop Give nonprofit of their choice.

We kindly ask those participating in the hunt to support our mission through choosing Rose Haven as your intended non-profit.

Your support helps us provide day shelter, resources, emotional support, and community connections to women, children, and marginalized genders experiencing homelessness and poverty. Together, we can do even more for our community — and the planet! 🌱
