The foundation of Rose Haven’s work is our Advocacy Program. Rose Haven’s Advocacy Program assists our guests in getting connected to a larger community of care. Each day, guests have the opportunity to sign-up for a one-on-one meeting with an Advocate. Our trained professionals work with each guest to assess their needs and offer referrals to both on-site and external resources.
Advocacy appointments are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Advocacy sign-ups can be accessed in-person at our Wellness Desk. Advocacy is available Monday-Friday 9am-12pm as well as during our Wednesday Family Afternoons from 1pm-4pm.
Mental Health Advocates provide emotional support and behavioral health navigation to our guests experiencing trauma.
Rose Haven’s Mental Health Program assists our guests in finding stability during times of crisis and uncertainty. Mental Health Advocates help conduct initial assessments, engage in safety planning, and connect guests to longer-term mental health care. Our team aims to remove barriers faced by guests when accessing care offsite and help bridge gaps to existing systems of care.
Guests can access support from the Mental Health Team by speaking to any staff member and asking to be added to the team’s Triage List.
Rose Haven’s Advocacy Department offers a limited amount of emergency financial assistance for guests seeking support.
