New & Gently Used

COVID-19 Update

Drop off Donations between 9am and 12pm

Monday – Friday

1820 NW Irving Street

To ensure social distancing we are accepting limited donations in the building adjacent to Rose Haven. We have restricted volunteer support amidst the COVID-19 precautions, so Rose Haven is lacking the woman power to sort donations and we are only able to accept BRAND NEW supplies (unless they are on this list) until further notice. We will update this page and our social media weekly with our top needs.

WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING CLOTHING DONATIONS FOR THE REST OF OCTOBER:

We are grateful for all our generous donors and are stocked with plenty of clothing donations.

We will accept outdoor and waterproof gear listed here:

  • raincoats ALL SIZES (gently used OK), winter coats
  • tents, tarps, sleeping bags (gently used OK)
  • umbrellas
  • luggage and rolling carts (gently used OK)

Check out William Temple House to give donations this month!

Address: 2230 NW Glisan St, Portland, OR 97210

Website: https://www.williamtemple.org/giving/thrift-store-donations/

Please consider making a financial donation so we can purchase the supplies we need. If you have clothing or other supplies you would like to donate, please hold off until the social isolation is lifted. If you have questions or items you think we could use right now that are not on this list please email info@rosehaven.org or call 503-248-6364 x303

Purchase outdoor supplies from Next Adventure which is a local, small business you can support that is offering a 50% discount to Rose Haven supporters who are purchasing supplies to donate. https://nextadventure.net/shop/rose-haven

Please be mindful that your donations are seasonal.

Rose Haven’s facility where we receive donations is the same building where we distribute services to women and children in need. We appreciate your donations, but have very limited capacity and space at our shelter.

We must limit our donors to no more than 3 large garbage bags a week of gently used clothing unless you have made a special appointment. Larger donations can be accommodated only with advance notice.

There are certain things we can’t get enough of, such as luggage, sleeping bags, plus sized clothing, work attire ( including special shoes for restaurants/construction), jeans and leggings, so call us if you have something you think could be helpful or if you have any questions. If you would like to make an appointment email info@rosehaven.org or call 503-248-6364 x-303. Most of our guests are in extreme need and will wear what they receive out the door, so make sure it is clean and ready to wear outside today.

The biggest difference you can make for Rose Haven is by making a financial donation. Thank you for understanding and helping us spread the word.
