Donate Supplies
Our Supply Distribution Program provides the essentials to our guests.
Our Supply Distribution Program provides the essentials to our guests.
We accept drop-in donations on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3 pm, or by appointment only. We ask that you limit your second-hand clothing donation to 2 bags.
We ALWAYS need full-size hygiene, tents, tarps, sleeping bags, blankets & new underwear.
We are so grateful for the support, and we also need to make changes for the safety and sustainability of our in-kind donations program. Last year, our volunteers spent over 4,500 hours sorting clothing and supply donations. These updated guidelines help us make the best use of that time, maximize our limited storage space, ensure donations are dignifying, and reach our guests as quickly as possible.
For a donation appointment, please message Kcampa@rosehaven.org
Our most needed items are personal hygiene items, comfortable clothing & shoes, socks, underwear, outdoor gear, backpacks, and luggage. We need practical, in-season clothing, as our guests are often wearing the clothing they receive that very day!
In 2025, we hosted 10,050 shopping visits and distributed 15,779 fresh set outfits!

Pictured is the lovely Chiara, one of our program associates. Chiara has been with Rose Haven for almost 4 years, initially coming to Rose Haven with a background in hotline crisis work. She Transitioned into a team oriented role, as she wanted to continue serving Portland’s unhoused population through a collective. At present, Chiara is balancing her position in direct service, while obtaining her masters degree in social work at PSU.
In her role, Chiara focuses on building relationships with guests and works to de-escalate situations as they arise in our space. She spends a lot of time in line facilitating conversations and mediating conflict. Chiara says her work is, “truly all about relationships,” with her favorite part of the job being, “the inside jokes with guests, all the nicknames they give me.”
Chiara speaks to the importance of Rose Haven, as a support network that is sustainably combats harm, while connecting people from a range of different backgrounds.

We distribute items that are weather-appropriate and we do not have storage space for out-of-season items.
