Why Does PRIDE at Rose Haven Matter?
Our community is flourishing with many amazing folks with varying genders and sexual identities. We honor the intersecting experiences of our LGBTQIA+ community and houseless neighbors through compassionate care, holistic resources, and celebration!
PRIDE at Rose Haven
Folks with varying gender and sexual identities represent Rose Haven and make it the amazing, safe, and welcoming place it is.
Our trauma informed model and gender-affirming care honors the intersecting experiences and identities of LGBTQIA+ community through holistic care, love in action, and celebration.
We provide access to resources that meet both basic and complex needs in a low-barrier and after space for LGBTQIA+ folks.
- Showers in a private, lockable ADA accessible stall that offers safety, autonomy, and dignity.
- Resource navigation and referral to organizations that meet the specific needs of our LGBTQIA+ community.
- We help guests obtain ID and birth certificates that are gender-affirming.
Attention Rose Haven Family
This month, Rose Haven will be marching at Portland PRIDE! To support our efforts, we are looking for volunteers for the following opportunities:
July 20th and 21st: Sign up for volunteer slots to design and make parade floats from 11:30am-8:00pm at Tom McCall Waterfront Park.
July 21: March with us! Meet at the North Park Blocks at 10am to march with Rose Haven at PRIDE.
