The Mother Maybelle Band is an all-acoustic project that came into being during the Covid shutdown. Members of the Reverb Brothers, as well as other musician friends, gathered weekly to trade off songs under the boughs of Mother Maybelle, the massive Maple Tree in Doug’s front yard. Eventually, they decided that this music should be preserved, so they started booking studio time once we could be together indoors again. About a year later, they’ve released a CD!
