Rose Haven functions with a small staff that values and relies on volunteers on a daily basis. Our volunteers gain the privilege of serving, and being enriched by the incredible women and children who come to enjoy the community we create together. In 2016 we had 599 volunteers who logged a total 16,296 hours of service.
Although Rose Haven hospitality is devoted to women and children, we have many opportunities for men to volunteer. Guests can choose if they want to sign up for activities where they interact with male volunteer on-site (such as computer lab), and there are also opportunities to help our women off-site (such as drives and special events). There are many ways to get involved at Rose Haven, and we can be very flexible with your availability.
The first step to get started volunteering with Rose Haven is to fill out the volunteer application at the bottom of this page. After you have completed this, we will contact you to schedule a volunteer orientation. Orientations must be scheduled in advance with our Volunteer and Operations Manager. After you complete your orientation (takes about 60 minutes) we run a background check, and once that clears you will schedule your shifts with our Volunteer and Operations Manager.
We will hold volunteer orientation on the upcoming times:
Thursday, March 8th at 10:00am
Thursday, March 15th at 10:00am
Thursday, March 22nd at 10:00am
