Volunteers are helping Rose Haven serve our most vulnerable community members during the COVID-19 pandemic. This has been a challenging time for everyone, as we try to adapt to the necessary social distancing and practices needed to keep people safe, while upholding the essential, life-saving services that Rose Haven provides.
Our operations have shifted to door services only throughout the shelter in place order, and we are providing to-go meals, emergency supplies and mail from the shelter, bathrooms and handwashing at the fellowship hall, and outdoor advocacy and referrals. We are taking every precaution to keep guests, volunteers, and staff safe, which means limiting the number of folks onsite. As social distancing guidelines shift, we will have more volunteers onsite accordingly. But there are also ways to help out offsite. Check out the Volunteer Opportunities section to learn more.
The first step to get started volunteering with Rose Haven is to fill out the volunteer application (please click the Volunteer Application button).
After you have completed this, we will contact you to begin the virtual onboarding process.
