Children’s Services

At Rose Haven, we restore dignity for children experiencing trauma or poverty by providing high-quality supplies and celebrations. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult guest of Rose Haven.

Wednesday afternoons, from 1-4 pm, are reserved for guests with minor children. These afternoons give parents an opportunity to receive services in a calmer setting, and when volunteers are present to spend time with their kids.

Diapers: Rose Haven distributes thousands of diapers every year to women and children in need. Diapers and wipes are available for Rose Haven guests. After completing an intake with an advocate, guests can pick up diapers and wipes on a regular basis. We suggest that you call in advance to ensure we have the size you need.

School Supplies: Rose Haven hosts a back-to-school fair each August, providing brand new school supplies for hundreds of children annually. To sign up for school supplies, please meet with an advocate.

Holiday Program: Each year Rose Haven hosts a holiday extravaganza distributing brand new gifts for hundreds of children in need. This event is made possible by the generous contributions from our community and catered by Retrolicious with a beautiful photo booth by Earth Fairy Entertainment. If you would like to sign up for the Children’s Holiday Party and to receive holiday gifts, please meet with an advocate.

Hospitality and Meals: Nutritious and balanced meals are available for children in hospitality.

Clothing: Clothing, including warm coats and more, are available Monday-Friday in Our Shop.

Showers: Children can shower in a safe and private setting Monday-Friday at our shelter.

Community: The community at Rose Haven is often the most stable thing our guests have. We offer a welcoming place where women and children can connect and heal.
