An Anonymous Volunteer Donor Has Pledge $500,000 to Rose Haven’s Campaign

An anonymous volunteer has pledged a $500,000 donation to the “Home for the Haven” Campaign.

“Home for the Haven” is a $3 million campaign centered around our new facility, enabling Rose Haven to build its dream home, bring guests back indoors, re-establish programs, and increase capacity to welcome and serve more community members. This volunteer has seen the impact of our organization from the inside and is deeply committed to supporting the vulnerable population served by Rose Haven. This $500,000 gift brings us closer to our $3 million campaign goal to fully fund this expansion.

“Our family is so delighted to give this gift to Rose Haven! For many years, I’ve had the privilege to watch and be part of this outstanding work accomplished alongside and for Portland’s most vulnerable women. The individual attention, care and empowerment given to guests is unique to Rose Haven. The wonderful staff are wise and kind-hearted. Each woman is seen as a whole person and well regarded for their gifts and presence in the community. The result is that physical, social and emotional needs are met, lives are changed and community is built. Rose Haven is a good investment in the lives of women. Please join us in helping Rosehaven make an even greater impact in this new larger space!” – anonymous volunteer and donor.

Rose Haven is Portland’s only day shelter and community center that serves women, children, and marginalized genders who have experienced the trauma of abuse, homelessness, or other traumatic life events. Help us reach our $3 million goal by making a gift to this campaign today.
