Rose Haven Celebrates 7th Anniversary

On October 2, 2014 Rose Haven celebrates our lucky 7th anniversary! From 1997-2006 we operated as a program of Catholic Charities in Old-Town, until we moved to our present location and re-opened our doors as an independent non-profit in October 2007. This anniversary gives us an opportunity to look back at how much we have grown since.  We started small, with limited hours and programs; and relentless work from our founding director, Sr. Cathie Boerboom. Rose Haven is now open Monday-Friday from 8:30am-3pm, and we expect to serve over 3,000 unique women and children in 2014.

We are so honored to serve the many women and children we have seen over the years, and we couldn’t have done it without supporters like you.  Thank you from the Rose Haven community for believing in our mission and allowing us to grow to what we are today. We can’t wait to see what our garden looks like in another 7 years!
