New 2016 Programming at Rose Haven

BLOOM: Wellness & Empowerment for Women

Many of the community health and wellness plans currently available in our community are not accessible to the un-housed population. Rose Haven wants to bring these programs to the 2,000+ women we serve annually.

Thanks to support from the James E and Lila G Miller Charitable Trust, Providence Health Plans, Women’s Foundation Oregon and many generous individuals, BLOOM will launch in January 2016.

BLOOM will feature a weekly and monthly calendar of targeted courses, activities and events relevant to homeless, abused and poverty stricken women to help improve all aspects of their lives.

Through partnerships in our community, BLOOM will offer a structured and well-rounded approach to personal healing and empowerment.  Our model is one of collaboration, not duplication, and will bring speakers, resources, professionals and counselors onsite to help homeless women thrive.

Education and self-improvement activities throughout the year will focus on:
